Through collaboration with local communities, government institutions, universities, research institutions, NGOs and conservation partners, our Endangered Species Conservation Programme supports research, monitoring and conservation action for the Southern Patas Monkey, Maasai Apalis and other endangered or threatened wildlife in Tanzania.
We combine local knowledge, scientific research, emerging technology and community action to better understand species, reduce threats and protect the habitats they depend on.
Our goal is simple: to help ensure that Tanzania’s endangered wildlife survives, recovers and thrives in healthy landscapes shared with empowered communities.
